Almost Missed It

I'm sorry its been so long since the last post.  We had an awful sickness that ran through the house and we are all slowly getting back to normal.  I am also trying to organise Ava's 2nd birthday party.  I didn't see it amoungst all the sickness, decision making and choas.  I will be back soon.

Two Weeks

About two and a half years ago I bought a really nice white samsung mobile phone.  When we bought it, Ash made me promise that if Geech ate this phone I would have to keep it until the end of the contract (which was for 24 months).  About two weeks later, Geech ate the phone.  This was the third phone that he had eaten and I had to keep this one.  I wasn't happy.  I covered all of the bite marks with white contact and lived with it until two weeks ago when my gorgeous husband suprised me with a brand new white iphone!!!  I love it!!  It's the best phone and it's white!!  So you will understand my horror when I see Ava butt shuffling towards me with it in her hand and banging it hard onto the concrete floor with every shuffle (she wanted to watch a Kate Nash film clip I had downloaded onto it).  It's okay, we just won't tell Daddy about it.
Anyway, here are some cool photos from Design Sponge of Beci Orpin's home.

Alice In Wonderland

Sadly I've been feeling very uninspired lately, which is quite unusual for me. I've had a few decisions to make and one was whether I would return to work.  After changing my mind many times and crying a river of tears from frustration and indecision, I have decided to stay home with my beautiful girls.  It is a wonderful, yet sad decision.  I worked for Freedom (furniture) for ten years.  Eight of those were spent as a Visual Merchandiser, so its been hard to say good bye (especially as I loved every aspect of my job, even the frustrating, exhausting times).  It was the most wonderful job and I will miss it dearly.
This decision has changed a few things and I look forward to the wonderful life in front of me. There are new goals to set and new things to try and I look forward to sharing them all with you here.
