On Wednesday, my Mum's beautiful, sweet little dog Oscar, sadly lost his battle with cancer. You were are amazing little friend and I will miss you so much. Thank you for everything you gave me and especially everything you gave my Mum. We all loved your cute little greetings at the side gate and all the cuddles for no reason, but just to have a cuddle. We love you. xxx

In an effort to distract my beautiful Mum from all the sadness, I've sent Ava over for her first sleep over. Ava always has so much fun at Mum's, but she has never slept over there. Well, she has once when I was really, really sick and didn't care about anything, but this is the first time I have consciously been away from her for the night. I'm pretty sure she is going to be fine and besides, she is only 8 minutes and 25 seconds away (yes, I did time it).
