Fun at The Airport

Last night we returned to the Airport to collect Ash, but his flight was REALLY late as Sydney Airport had closed due to a storm.  We only live about 30mins from the Airport, but the traffic going home was so bad, that I thought it would be easier to just hang out there.  After all, who doesn't love the Airport. All those people coming and going, people reuniting, the vending machines, the 20c gumball dispensers that Ava thinks holds little balls and screams until she gets one, the luggage carousels that Piper constantly wants to climb on and best of all, the girls get to eat chippies for dinner.  I think it was the only time that they actually finished their entire meal.    Here is Ava having her dinner. And here is Piper running around the Airport.  She never stops.  She was still running at 8pm and even fell over and split her lip, but that didn't stop her.

When Ash did eventually land, the airline lost his luggage AGAIN.  How you lose luggage when you are only flying from Canberra to Brisbane is beyond me.  There must be a vortex somewhere over Sydney that just sucks up your luggage.
