Last year, Piper started school and all of a sudden I really struggled with the idea of actually having to let our children go and allowing them to find their own way in the world.  My heart ached and I wasn't sure how I ever could, even though I knew I had no choice.  Then I realised that even though I can't protect them from everything, I can empower them.  I can teach them to be strong and confident.  To love who they are and to never carry someone else's negativity.  To be proud of being a girl.
