The girls are so excited about Christmas and so was I when I discovered this Advent Calendar from minieco.  It is colourful, easy to make and fun.  We refer to it as "Sleeps until Santa" which helps them understand why they can only take one down a day.

Ava also has a new pet.  She loves Caterpillars and was so excited when her Nannie (my beautiful Mum) found a Caterpillar for her.  She is so kind and will sit and watch it for ages.  It's just about to start building its cocoon and Piper can't wait until it "turns into a beautiful rainbow" just like The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
